More and more doctors today are involved in Aesthetic Medicine following the ever increasing demands of an ever increasing number of patients who demand the highest level of care. DIDACTIC OBJECTIVES
Aesthetic Medicine is a medical discipline that entails the construction and reconstruction of the individual’s psychophysical balance when such an individual does not accept a physical aesthetic problem. Basically it is an aspect of medicine that promotes quality of life, and health as an expression of psychophysical wellbeing, a medical discipline that primarily promotes prevention and in second instance corrective measures. In its prevention phase the doctors teach the patients how to be aware of and accept their inherited physical features, how to protect and manage such features according to basic health, nutritional, physical psychological, behavioral, and cosmetological rules. In the corrective phase, the program includes only official and well proven medical, surgical, phisiokinectic, thermal, and cosmetic techniques. It is a four year course that includes 220 hours of lessons held by university and hospital experts, and by internationally well known experts in the field of Aesthetic Medicine
